    How do I use the SmartSeal?
    Place your food inside a SmartSeal reusable vacuum bag, close the zipper completely using the integrated sealing clip, lay the bag on a flat surface and position the SmartSeal directly over the vacuum valve. Activate the vacuum function until the excess air has been removed.
    Why is my SmartSeal not removing the air?
    First check that the bag zipper is completely closed. Then place the bag on a flat surface and make sure the area around the vacuum valve is smooth and flat. Position the SmartSeal directly over the valve so it sits flush and creates a proper seal. If air can enter through an open zipper or the unit cannot seal properly around the valve, the bag will not vacuum correctly.
    What is the difference between Standard and Pro?
    The Standard Pack includes your SmartSeal vacuum sealer and reusable vacuum bags. The Pro Pack includes everything in the Standard Pack plus the complete 3-piece vacuum canister set for foods that are better stored without being compressed.
    When should I use bags and when should I use canisters?
    Use reusable vacuum bags for robust foods such as meat, cheese, leftovers, meal prep and freezer storage. Use vacuum canisters for delicate foods such as berries, avocado, leafy greens and cut fruit that could be squashed or compressed inside a vacuum bag.
    Are the SmartSeal vacuum bags reusable?
    Yes. Wash and dry the bags thoroughly between uses. Make sure the zipper and vacuum valve are clean and completely dry before sealing again.
    Can the vacuum canisters go in the microwave?
    No. Do not place the SmartSeal vacuum canisters or their lids in the microwave. Transfer food to a microwave-safe container before reheating.
    Does SmartSeal have an integrated sealing clip?
    Yes. The sealing clip is built directly into the SmartSeal. It helps close the zipper neatly and completely before vacuum sealing, and because it is integrated into the unit there is no separate clip to misplace or lose.
    How do I charge the SmartSeal?
    SmartSeal is rechargeable via USB-C. Connect the charging cable to the unit and allow it to charge fully before use. A full charge takes approximately four hours.
